Fellow Alumni,

We hope this communiqué finds you well and wish you a very Happy New Year!

Entering a new Decade the Los Angeles Alumni Association continues to strive to expand its programs and events to our alumni and current Fisk students. We hope that you will take part in the fellowship opportunities, fundraising events and student recruitment activities that we are planning this year. We want more alumni involvement to experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting our cause.

It is our mission to strengthen networking among Los Angeles area alumni, promote student recruitment, and support the fundraising goals of Fisk University. In order to meet our mission and provide scholarships to students, we rely on the generosity of alumni and without your assistance we wouldn’t be able to provide student scholarships each year.

The Alumni Association’s Executive Board and Committee Chairs met on Saturday, January 11, 2020 After much discussion on varying strategies for fulfilling our mission and building our active membership base, the implementation of a variety of strategies are needed to reach our fundraising goals.

The one strategy we are continuing is that each alumni make the commitment to support our alumni association initiatives by contributing a one year contribution of $120.00 / or $10.00 per month that supports the following:

Elroy Bond Scholarship Fund – $70
Membership Dues/Operating cost – $50
Total $120.00

Payments should be sent to:
LA Fisk University Alumni Club
P O Box 452773
Los Angeles, CA 90045

Or visit the alumni association’s website lafiskalumni.com to make online donations. ($50 Alumni Dues $70 Elroy Bond Scholarship)
